Math Camps, Events, and Neat Stuff
- The Vancouver Independent School for Science and Technology (VISST) is offering multiple STEM summer camps for different age groups from age 9-16 during July - August 2022. All VISST camps are based on hand-on activities such as coding projects and building your own electric motor. For more information and registration see https://www.visst.ca/summer-camps-2022

- Mathematics WWW Virtual Library A collection of resources, provided by the Mathematics Department of the Florida State University.
- Science and engineering for kids Geering up: Engineering students from UBC offer a non profit opportunity for youth from the Greater Vancouver area to explore science technology and engineering in fun and creative ways.
- RocketScientists.ca A collection of resources, including several relevant to mathematics. For example, under the "Generic Resources" heading, there are links to an online scientific calculator, an online graphing utility, a units conversion program, and a numerical mathematics page.
Engineers and Geoscientists BC Branch Popsicle Bridge Building Contests
As part of National Engineering and Geoscience Month [NEGM]; an annual celebration of engineering and geoscience across Canada, various Engineers and Geoscientists BC Branches organize and host popsicle bridge building competitions across the province of BC. The goal of these events are to promote the awareness of the engineering and geoscience professions, showcase career choices, and the many ways in which engineering and geoscience relate to our everyday life.
